Your donated ribbons are a hit at Texas Children's Hospital
West Campus grand opening

This spring, Ribbon Recyling teamed with the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show (www.pinoak.org) to provide “recycled” ribbons to hand out at the Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus grand opening, held Saturday, April 9 on the hospital grounds in Houston, Texas. Sometimes Ribbon Recycling donates ribbons to groups whose only therapeutic purpose is the pure joy of family fun on horseback. Dana Derenoski, of IRC Innovative Rehabilitation Consultants in Canada, organizes an annual family fun gymkhana day at her farm in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her paper-thin budget requires help on the awards front. Ribbon Recycling couldn't resist donating to her cause. [see the result]

 

Dog-show ribbons can be customized for pet adoption events

Ribbon Recycling ribbons, cleverly “customized” by Dayna Nelson of Deep End Farm Bed and Barn, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and friends were a hit at the Pet Appreciation Week (PAW) event at Tractor Supply Company. The Lawrenceburg, Kentucky facility hosted pets from Hopper’s Halfway Home Rescue (Linda Hopper, founder), Mercer Humane Society, and Anderson Humane Society. [read more]
